The Group comprises twelve brands from seven European countries: Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ducati, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Scania and MAN. In addition, the Volkswagen Group offers a wide range of financial services, including dealer and customer financing, leasing, banking and insurance activities and fleet management.
With its "TOGETHER - Strategy 2025" future program, the Volkswagen Group is paving the way for the biggest change process in its history: the realignment of one of the best carmakers to become a globally leading provider of sustainable mobility. To achieve that, the Group will be transforming its automotive core business, and will among other things be launching a further 30-plus fully electric cars by 2025, as well as expanding battery technology and autonomous driving as new core competences.
At Volkswagen Group IT, we promote the digitalization of Volkswagen and its products at our headquarters in Wolfsburg, at all production plants throughout the Group and in our IT labs. Our wide range of system solutions connects millions of people around the world every day.
The IT supports the core business segments of the Volkswagen Group at all sites: It provides, maintains and continuously develops the Group-wide IT infrastructure together with the central data centres and worldwide networks.
We work with a highly motivated and committed IT team and accept the challenges in the context of digitalization. Apart from our Software Development Centre in Wolfsburg and Berlin, we have several IT labs. We implement an agile approach, and work closely with technological partners, universities and research organizations. This provides the best environment for devoting ourselves to the future issues of mobility and digitalization.
